Details:

*Auditions will be this Sunday 31st July in central Reading. Please contact me if you are interested for further details

I am looking for male actors for 20 minute pilot filming in Reading - must be available for entire weekend of 13/14 August as all filming we be taking place over this weekend. No pay available but should be a fun and rewarding experience and a copy of the finished piece will be provided to all persons involved. May be entered into some competitions depending on the outcome.

Synposis:
John is down on his luck and needs a place to stay. He moves in with an uncle he hasn’t seen in several years, but his uncle has a secret – an obsession with action/superhero movies has slowly infected his reality until he imagines himself as a local hero. The pilot revolves around his adventures against imaginary foes and the gap between his own reality and that his nephew sees.

Parts:

Uncle Harry (Main) 40s/50s: Our quixotic hero, ever enthusiastic but with rose tinted spectacles and an over active imagination. Role requires an energetic person with a willingness to wear a variety of outfits of varying levels of ridiculousness and for some dancing / singing (quality unimportant).

His Nephew John (Main) 20s: Main: The voice of reason, with a dry sense of humour. Harry\'s reluctant and occasionally incredulous sidekick. Preferably tall.

Their Neighbour Joe (support): 30s/40s: slow on the uptake. Acts as Harry\'s unwitting nemesis with the tendency towards accidental trouble making.
