Hi there,

I am producing my final year dissertation film at the University of Leeds with the view of distributing the film to various film festivals including the Cannes Film Festival where I have had work screened in the past.

The film, entitled 'her', follows the story of lonely middle aged male transvestite who has become disconnected from society venting his emotions to his only friend, his dog. The character has a complex duel personality being a performative diva on the one hand whilst lonely, erratic and childish on the other. The film is almost entirely set in the characters bedsit and follows his steep decline into drugs in an attempt to cure his isolation and craving for the "good old days".

The script is now nearing the end of development and so can be sent out to you via email should you be interested in the role. We ask that potential applicants send us a few headshots and a showreel if available online.

Auditions will be held toward the end of November/start of December with the five day shoot to occur mid February 2012. The role is unpaid but expenses will be covered.
