Details:

We are filming a micro-budget short film based on a text from Shakespeare. We require a male actor to perform one of Shakespeare’s monologues (about 3-4 minutes). The shoot will take place outdoors and the actor will be in period costume. The performance will be shot in several takes so there will be opportunities during the shoot to review lines.

We will ask all applicants to send through a short clip of themselves performing 30-seconds of the monologue which we will use to make our final selection. Previous experience with Shakespeare performance would be a plus.

We are specifically looking for someone who can speak with gravitas and authority, underlined by a weariness of the world. Ideally, we would like someone around 5\'7\" height or above and medium build, although we will also consider other applicants based on performance.

Please message for more details.
