"Muted" is a privately financed gritty video drama about a mute, moderately autistic young man whose existence had been hidden from the world by his highly abusive, disturbed grandmother.
After his release, Gren's ability to cope in society brakes down and the only option he feels is left is to stow away in a shipping container bound for the volcanic, Icelandic wasteland.
Now totally isolated, Gren's troubles really begin as horrific flashbacks haunt him from when he lived with... Grandma!

We are looking for a very slim young man with sharp features.
No learning of lines will be mostly unnecessary for this character as he communicants with a voice program on a small laptop (but some lines are spoken at the end of story), so this role can easily be done by a keen amateur looking for an interesting challenge.

Recording starts in Iceland at the end of June and your flight and accommodation will be paid for. All other work for the video will take place in the UK after June around London and Ipswich In a sporadic time frame of up to a year.

Payment is negotiable depending on experience.
