SYN DA RILLA
Playing age 17-19. A street-wise, “urban” young woman with a soft centre. Engaging, warm-hearted, and in spite of her step-family’s ill-treatment and exploitation, optimistic. Syn Da Rilla is an undiscovered unsigned singer, who can break your heart with a love-lorn ballad or rock the house with a heavy duty club anthem. Street-dance and singing ability required.

BUTTUNZ
Playing age 18-20. “Audience’s friend”. An energetic, charismatic young chancer who ducks and dives and lives on his wits, but is at heart decent and honourable. Loves Syn Da Rilla but has never managed to tell her. Lots of audience interaction involved. Street-dance and singing ability required.

DJ “PRINZ” CHARMIN’
Playing age 19-25. Handsome, buff, charismatic rapstar/producer/entrepreneur in the P. Diddy mould. Charmin’ is a nice Enfield lad who has succeeded by creating a cool “ladies-man” persona, but he really craves true love, and we see both sides of his personality. Singing, rapping and street-dance ability require.

Ms. JEANIE DANDINI
Playing age 19-24. Efficient, unflappable, organised and sexy in an elegant and sophisticated way. Ms. Dandini is DJ “Prinz” Charmin’s faithful PA, and the only person he confides in. Singing essential. Street/technical dance preferred.

RAYONNE TENTE
Playing age non-specific but below 30. Dame role. TOWIE-inspired. A brash, vain, pushy, brash Essex-girl. Ability to strut and preen essential. Audience engagement required. RAYONNE is skinny. The two Tente girls are always bickering between themselves, but will present a united front against common “enemies” like Syn Da Rilla, Buttunz and Ms. Dandini. Singing and some “comedy” street-dance required.

POLLY-ESTHER TENTE
Sister of RAYONNE. Playing age non-specific but below 30. Dame role. TOWIE-inspired. A brash, vain, pushy, brash Essex-girl. Ability to strut and preen essential. Audience engagement required. POLLY-ESTHER is a full-bodied girl. The two Tente girls are always bickering between themselves, but will present a united front against common “enemies” like Syn Da Rilla, Buttunz and Ms. Dandini. Singing and some “comedy” street-dance required.

FAIRY GODMOTHER/EVA-LYNNE TENTE
Playing Age - 35-40. A split role for a versatile character actress. EVA-LYNNE TENTE is the wicked Step-mother, the baddie of the piece: a sneering, snobbish mean-spirited TOWIE mum who will stop at nothing to get one of her daughters married to money. The FAIRY GODMOTHER is the opposite: kindly, warm and a little bit scatty. The gag is that the Fairy Godmother is a traditional panto old-hand, who is initially thrown by the “urban upgrades” of the story. But with each entrance, she buys into the style more, until her final appearance in full bling and “dollar-sign” wand as “F to da G”��singing and some elementary street dance required��
