The story is about a guy (Dave/ a workaholic) who barely pays attention to his girlfriend (Kate). One night, he dreams that his girlfriend gets hit by a car and dies while having a quarrel with him. He changes himself to be more considerate and work is not the most important thing to him anymore. They supposed to live happily ever after. However, there is a twist where all this happiness is not true.
