Details:

The Dream Corporation needs a talented actor to portray its founder, Dr. Horatio Sands, one of the 20th century\'s most pioneering and secretive figures.

After making his fortune as a visionary engineer at the vanguard of the Information Revolution, Sands vanished from the public eye for over a decade. In 2017 he released his first public statement since his disappearance, announcing his concern with the effects of technology on the psychological and emotional well-being of human beings. He subsequently founded The Dream Corporation with the goal of redirecting technology back at the problems it had itself created — using groundbreaking VR technology to provide people with the primal fulfillment lacking in their lives.

For this first engagement, you will be voicing the animated avatar of Horatio with the writing and direction of our (real) founder, Ed Wardle - former screenwriter to Oscar and BAFTA-winners and graduate of the University of Southern California and Oxford University. You will be the voice that welcomes thousands of people to virtual reality as they visit our forthcoming chain of virtual reality bars, OTHERWORLD. The first branch will open in Haggerston, East London, in Feb 2019.

We\'re looking for an actor who is also open to taking subsequent jobs with us, reprising the role of Horatio across a multitude of projects and media: Marketing materials, mockumentaries, VR shorts, and most importantly - the filmed component of a large-scale immersive theatre experience opening late March 2019.
