'Peace Lily' is a short student drama about the importance of human companionship. The main character, Walter, is an elderly man with deteriorating eyesight whose only reason to get up in the morning is to tend to his deceased wife's Peace Lily. Walter's life changes when a deaf woman named Ivy sends a surprise video tape requesting his companionship. Through a series of letters and video tapes, each helps the other open up to the world and experience life that they are missing out on.
A quiet small student film, with big plans for the festival circuit.
A small pay of £50 a day plus travel expenses will be covered.
