'Stolen Generation’ is the first short film by Derbyshire based production company Mercia Productions. The film is based on an award-winning short script from the University of Derby. It echoes today's political climate. Out of touch politicians have destroyed any hope of a positive and productive life for the younger generation. They have stolen from us financially and caused our physical and mental state to deteriorate. Mikey, our main character, who has felt the full force of austerity and political unfairness in his life, is now at rock bottom, has decided enough is enough and takes revenge on a vulnerable ex-politician.
