As the lead role in the production Marlowe is the protagonist and the story focuses on him and his relationship with his younger brother Louis. Marlowe is somewhat of an introvert, keeping to himself, for the most part, he has a good heart and wears thick glasses. He allows others to push him around at the beginning of the story but by the end, he matures, takes responsibility for his own decisions and becomes a man.
