Surface Gallery, Nottingham requires an actor to play an artist in a performance art piece at the opening of their EM11 Platform exhibition. This is a curated show and it is a challenging role alongside two other actors where you will be improvising based upon character and background sketches. Some experience doing improv work with the public or interactive/live role-playing would be preferred.

We would like to meet you before the show though there will be minimal rehearsals. You will be playing an artist with work at the show and a little knowledge of fine arts would be useful though not necessary. We are looking for extrovert characters.

We are looking for an older female actor 60+ and a 30+ male actor. These are character roles and you will be required to improvise for the entire event. The roles are for an elderly or frail looking woman of any ethnicity and a tall/large biker or trucker for the male role.
