Production Wk 12th-18th May 2013. Rehearsals start early March 2013 and are held every Tuesday and Thursday each week – 7.30 p.m. – 10.p.m.

Based in South Birmingham/West Midlands (Solihull area) our resident home is a beautiful 1930\'s custom built theatre/hall; seating capacity 150+; full staging facilities; sound and lighting; Back stage, green room; separate bar and catering area; parking; facilities for disabled.

We are a small talented Amdram group founded 65 years ago and are fortunate to have within our membership professional and semi-professional actors who participate whenever they can. Our technicians and crew members have already committed themselves to the May production as has acting members of the group.

The group have decided that it would be good to have a completely different director to undertake this well-known play. Fresh ideas and approach would be welcomed and the director (he/she) will have the support of the committee/group.

Theatrical directing experience is necessary (either pro / amdram) as this play needs someone who knows what they are doing and understands the emotions and fun that this production can achieve in the right hands.

This is an unpaid role, although expenses will be paid for the duration of the rehearsals and production week.
