"Pieces of Me" is an animated short film about a young girl Cecelia struggling with depression and her future coming at her too fast. She's always the girl that people go to for help; organised, intelligent, perfect. But lately Cecelia hasn't been feeling herself. Will a walk down memory lane be the answer to her worries?

Expenses paid. Recording to take place in Manchester through December.

Looking for the following:

Females, aged 15 to 25 from Manchester, United Kingdom
Cecelia is 17 going on 18. She's always the girl that people go to for help; organised, intelligent, perfect. But lately she hasn't been feeling herself. Cecelia is worried her future is coming too fast and looks to the past for solace after being diagnosed with depression. At the end of the film she realises that in order to be happy you need to pick yourself up; take things at your own pace; and make an effort with the people who love you.

Yui (Mum).
Females, aged 18 and over from Manchester, United Kingdom
(Japanese accent required)
Yui lived in Japan with her family her whole life but moved to the UK to be with a man she fell in love with. She started a family and grew to love her new life, though she misses her family sometimes. This causes her to grow close to her daughter Cecelia. Her love and support are what help her daughter pick herself up after struggling with the stress of her future beginning and a depression diagnosis. Her emotional scenes are the heart of the story and a warm, comforting tone is key.
