Brookside Theatre will be presenting Ira Levin's classic comedy-thriller 'Deathtrap, this November.

Directed by Neil Reynolds, 'Deathtrap' is the story about a washed up playwright, Sidney Bruhl, who has his successes behind him and then he receives a fantastic play in the mail from an ex-student named Clifford Anderson. Bruhl invites Cliff home and then tries to trick him out of his fantastic script. When that does not work Bruhl turns to murder, but who will be the victim?

Medium role - Act 1 only. Some physicality - must die and fall to the floor. Has a heart problem and a case of the nerves. Must be able to assist carrying a body out the door. Sophisticated, upper class but embraces the country life Sweet, caring, emotional, nervous, even skittish, very supportive of Sydney's career and moods but does grow some backbone when he crosses the line. Be able to find moments to add life to the scene. Experienced actress required.
