Contracted short Stephen King film; 'Big Driver'

We need several actors for our shoot.
One main woman; must be middle aged, blonde and short
Two men; MUST be tall AND well built
Another middle aged woman
One older woman, early 60's or so
One 20 something woman, black hair.

We are a crew all made up of students, but are all experts in this field. We will be filming across Devon in the 2 weeks. The film is 45 minutes long.
All actors must have full clean driving licenses due to locations.

The story is dark (of course, it's a Stephen King story!) It is about a middle aged author, Tess. She is asked to do a chat about her books in a nearby town. She obliges, and after her chat is told by the head librarian to take another route home. She does so, but her tyre is burst by some wood and nails that have been left in the road; a man in a truck stops to help her. He seems nice enough, until she looks into the back of his truck to see wood and nails in his back seat.
He then beats and assaults her, leaving her for dead in a pipe filled with his other victims. She plays dead and manages to escape home, washing away the evidence and pondering as to wether to contact the police or not. Her cat, tom tom and character from her books all help her in finding out who did this to her, and why, and they track down the culprits together.

It is a complex and dark story, but one that is vitally important. We need serious actors. This film will be shown at film festivals around the globe, and will look fantastic on anyones CV.
