Details:

2 MET Film School MA graduates are on the lookout for an actress of Afro-Caribbean descent to star in a short 8-minute comedy satirical film called, ‘Ticked Off,’ in which a free-spirited African American Muslim must succeed the mother of all initiation tests to obtain a dream job: the equality and diversity test!

FARIDA is our main character we\'re casting for. She's 35, with a plus-sized / average build, and a cheeky sense of humour.

We have £75 available to pay the actress for both days of the shoot, taking place on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August 2018, in London. Director Alex Doyle and myself, Kadijha Kamara, writing and producing, aim to submit the short to film festivals.

Here are some dates for your diary:

5 pm Wednesday 15th August:
Submissions of interest deadline

9 am Thursday 16th August:
The full script with the extract to read from will be sent to shortlisted actresses. We’ll also check actresses time availabilities to attend an audition.

9.30am – 4 pm Saturday 18th August:
Face-to-Face auditions at the Met Film School in Ealing Studios or self-tape auditions sent to kadijah.kamara@metfilmschool.ac.uk for auditionees who aren’t available on the 18th.

5 pm Sunday 19th August:
Decision made

Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August:
Shoot days

At this stage, we can negotiate rehearsal times in the run-up to the 25th.
