Details:

O Sole Mio is a short romantic comedy taking place in an Italian restaurant. Presidential candidate Clancy is in his campaign tour, and he's dining at the O Sole Mio restaurant. It's a big day for Antonio, the owner, and also for his nephew Marco, who aspires to one day own the business. However, when Clancy's family walks in, Marco instantly falls in love with the daughter, Maria, and will try everything to win her heart - even if that means he has to sacrifice his future at the restaurant.

O Sole Mio is mostly a silent film, meaning that most characters will never talk. In fact, Antonio is the only one who does.

CLANCY (45) is a fairly young and ambitious politician. He's seen by the press as the favourite to become our fictitious world's next president. In this particular day, he's just looking to have a fine meal in a traditional restaurant with his family and his sidekick-type adviser.

He is very traditional in the way he treats his daughter Maria like a child. She doesn't like it.
