OUSE OF DUST

House of Dust is a story about a girl who turns to peculiar methods to lift a heavy curse, struck upon her house and family.

The source of the curse is a mystery to Violet, all she knows is the draining power and vicious atmosphere that permeates her once friendly home.

A little girl, strives to banish the curse and make a return to her old life. She seeks help from ancient magic, and tries to unfold the lost secrets of her garden, whispering wishes into the night.

The film tackles the difficult subject of grief, from a child's perspective. It's not something that adults can easily discuss, and even more so, when trying to comfort a child in the same situation.

We have decided to fund-raise for a charity called - The Grief Encounter, here are a few words from their page:

Our vision at the Grief Encounter Project is that every bereaved child and their family in the UK get the best possible help, recognition and understanding following their loss.

We are supporting this project as best we can, and hope this film will raise awareness for children in this position. We will be donating a portion of any prize money or proceeds the film generates after production, as well as donating any of the funds raised through indiegogo that we do not spend on production to The Grief Encounter Project.

All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
