Hat Trick Productions (Father Ted, Fonejacker, Outnumbered) is developing a new scripted comedy series for a major broadcaster and is holding two days of castings for the lead roles. Both known and undiscovered talent are invited to apply.

‘Top Coppers' follows the adventures of two 70’s style, cool, hard, ginger cops - John Mahogany and Mick Rust, as they shoot and punch crime with their guns and fists. They may also use blunt objects from time to time or just run things over with their car.

Main influences include 'Flight of the Conchords' and 'Father Ted’ as well as classic spoofs 'Blazing Saddles' and 'Airplane'.

We’re looking to meet ginger talent of all ranges; including straight actors, comic actors, stand-up comedians and double acts.

Playing Age: 18 to 35
Hair Colour: Ginger / Red / Auburn / Strawberry Blonde / Autumn Sunset

Casting Dates: Friday 15th and Saturday 16th April 2011
Area: Central London
