Do you want to star in a diverse comedy sketch troupe? Do you have funny bones, screen presence and warmth?

Sods Opera is a comedy sketch troupe formed by freelance TV professionals to be pitched, passed round to, and screened to, TV Bosses (our former and current bosses)..

We\'re producing a 15 minute non-broadcast taster DVD to pitch to TV honchos.

On Saturday 6 August, at a central London location, we are auditioning for the remaining THREE members to form the Sods Opera troupe.

We\'re looking for:

1 BLACK male comic actor/standup comedian;
1 ASIAN malecomic actor/standup comedian;
1 mixed race female comic actress


Actors must be able to play a range of funny characters and be confident performing different styles of comedy: slapstick, satirical, straight, dark humour, silly, spoofs, OTT – like Jim Carrey etc

Please do not apply if you can not commit to the following:

*All applicants must send link to video.

*Be available to film a few sketches to go on the website and enter Cofilmic short 5 minute comedy sketch competition - on Saturday 13 August and/or Sunday 14 August in London.

*DVD will be filmed over 4/5 days late September or early October.

*If we secure development funding then that\'s when money can come in but successful cast members will have material on Sods Opera site, DVD copy AND get seen by TV Heads of Comedy and Entertainment.

Scripts will be submitted to successful applicants.
