I am a Writer and Director and earlier on this year I had my first stage play performed to a favourable reaction (please click or copy and paste the link below for the review).

I am looking for actors to audition for a role in a new play which I have written and will also be directing (as titled below).

Pot Noodles & Knickers
~ A Friendship’s Journey

It tells the story of two young male hikers who embark on an ill fated walk across the Scottish highlands. This involves getting hopelessly lost, badly injured and the shocking realisation that one of them has been sleeping with the other’s fiancée.

In terms of commitment I would require you to be available for two rehearsal sessions a week in the Newbury area of approximately two hours each. The rehearsal schedule would span a period of around 3 months and I am looking to start in the week commencing Monday 15th August. I will do everything I can to arrange the rehearsal dates to accommodate your availability but I would like at least one of the sessions to be on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening or at some point during Sunday.

The stage performance will take place at The Corner House Theatre, Surbiton, Surrey on Saturday 12th November (transport for the event will either be arranged for you or travel expenses covered). We would also be looking to have a ‘dry run’ in the Newbury area in the week leading up to this. The play will be filmed with decent audio-visual equipment and although I cannot offer payment you will receive a DVD copy which, of course, you can use as a show reel.
