Details:

We are casting for a 2nd year short film production at Queen Mary, University of London. Our production group is going to shoot a creative reinterpretation of a scene from the movie CLOSER (Nichols, 2004).
The short film is going to be an artistic and intertextual adaptation, drawing on the origins of the script as a theatre play (Marber, 1997).
Actors need to be available for rehearsals and 2-day shooting that will take place between the 18th and 24th November, in LONDON (Queen Mary's Campus, Mile End). A DVD copy and catering will be provided, and travel expenses covered.

To schedule an audition and receive the script along with further information, please contact us.

Synopsis: A writer, Dan, meets his girlfriend Alice outside the photographer’s studio where he just had his picture taken for his new book. Alice senses that Dan is hiding something. Inside the studio, Alice overhears a conversation in which Dan tries to persuade the photographer, Anna, to see him again and start an affair. With the excuse of posing for a portrait, Alice confronts Anna in private.

AUDITION DATE: 11th NOVEMBER 2013, on Queen Mary's Campus, Mile End, London. If needed, other dates can be arranged for those who cannot make it on that day.

SHOOTING DATES: 2 days, 18th-24th November.
