A surreal short film following the story of Laura, a drug addict who overdoses on heroin and has an out of body experience that changes her life entirely. This short differs from all the other addiction film through it's new and more original metaphysical approach to the story and the life of the addict. (it's more about life than about the drug itself.)
The Tumble Dryer is produced by ZXCV Films, an enthusiastic and passionate team made out of students currently studying at the University of Derby.
The film is going to be shot on location in Derby, Derbyshire and in the studios at the University of Derby, Markeaton Street campus. The film is going to be shot on Kodak Double-X Negative Super 16mm B&W film in order to get the exact look that we want and replicate the grainy and colorless life of drug addiction.

Jeremiah - Heroin Dealer
Jeremiah is a black heroin dealer who works part-time in a pharmacy. He has been dealing drugs to Laura(main character) for years and they know each other really well but he doesn't want any of his peers know about his drug dealing.
Only needed for one day of shooting some time between 6th and 11th of March.
