A short drama film : To be shot January 2012.

We are looking for talented actors and actresses who are looking for experience. Unfortunately we have a limited budget so this is a no pay project but we will provide food and refreshments on set and will provide accommodation if necessary.

A lonely man

32Run Film are a newly formed production company and A Lonely Man is our latest short film project. Set in Portsmouth, the story of a man set in his ways challenged by his son to change his ways. The film discusses issues of race and racism in this Romeo and Juliet themed narrative. Dom is in his late teens, dating a girl he knows his father would never disapprove of, Nina is Dom’s girlfriend, beautiful, funny but Asian. We watch Dennis, in his mid fifties, ex military, unmarried and would be completely alone if not for his son. An argument brings issues to a head and Dennis is left with a dilemma, stay as he is or join the 21st century. The decision is made for him as he finds compassion in the place he’d least expect it, on the bus home.

This is a 10min short film that could be entered to festivals and all cast will receive a copy, to add to show reel.
