It's the return of 'The Cock & Tail Inn' but this time its yuppies, Thatcher, slit skirts and leotards as the pub hits the 80s.
Join Barry the landlord & the regulars from last year's sell-out comedy (plus a few new faces), in this riotous original play written & directed by John Scott Cobb for Driftwood Productions.

MIKE
Age approx. 35- 45, male.
(English / Somerset accent)
The protagonist. A bit of a wimp, he was formerly an accountant but has now come into a lot of money. He has no dress sense or taste whatsoever. His ex-wife Chrystal left him for his best mate Vince. He is desperately looking for a new woman, but has no idea where to start or even how to talk to them.

BARRY
Age approx 35-45, male.
(Bangladeshi / Asian accent).
The pub landlord, of Bangladeshi origin. A bit of a clown who takes himself too seriously with obsessive compulsive disorder. In the 70's he was obsessed with James Bond. His current obsession is now the new Hollywood hear-throb Tom Cruise and British day-time TV.

MOLLY
Age approx. 40-45, female.
(English / Somerset accent)
Barry's wife. She works in a hairdressing salon and is very bossy and domineering. She is going through the menopause and her sexual demands on the exhausted Barry have taken their toll and hints towards younger, more energetic men!

CHRYSTAL
Age approx. 28-40, female.
(English / Somerset/Feux-Posh)
The 'slapper' / maneater. Chrystal is ruthless, evil and manipulative. Formerly married to Mike, she left him after having an affair with his best mate Vince. She is "faux - posh". Always pretending to be greater and more impressive than she really is.

DEBORAH
Age approx. 26-40, female.
(English /London)
A lone newcomer to the Inn. She becomes the love attraction of Mike. Very mysterious and quiet with hidden depths. She is quit elegant in a conservatively dressed, polite, pleasant and attractive way.

DICK
Age approx. 40-50, male.
(English / Upper-Class - Error Flynn style)
An upper-class "twit" who is particularly disliked. He is incredibly wealthy, a fool and an appalling chauvinistic pig. He is Vince's pal and stooge, and also fancies himself as a bit of a ladies man, although this couldn't be further from the truth..

STEFFI
Age approx. 40-50 female.
(Austrian / Austrian accent)
Molly's friend. And work colleague. An Austrian lady who also works at the hair dressing salon. She is very Germanic and domineering as well as being a complete man-eating nymphomaniac.

HELMUT
Age approx. 22-28 female.
(Austrian / Austrian accent)
Steffi's son. An over-friendly, very camp, closet homosexual. He sees himself as the best DJ in the land, yet his music is a little too "modern" for the regulars of the inn. He is another stooge of Vince's.

VINCE
Age approx. 35-45(Brummie)
The Brummie rogue. Vince is devious and backstabbing, a self professed womaniser and likes to think he is sharp and fashionable. He ran off with Mike's wife Chrystal in the mid seventies, but is now back in town with a surprise new profession
