Details:

Ursula Mayer's film 'Gonda' deals with the iconography of the portrait as a filmic image and addresses the interplay and differentiation of the image alongside language. The character of Gonda, who in turn also embodies Joan of Arc, requires a strong, striking actor with an iconic face. Ideally we are looking a man with feminine features, possibly transgender. However the role could also be open to a woman with masculaine traits. Age: 25 - 50. Requires partial nudity.

The shoot would be approximately 4 days in the UK (2 days London, 2 days Wales TBC). Shooting provisionally during the week of 25th July. The role is paid - approximately £150 per day.

The film is commissioned by Flamin, Film London, Elephant Trust, London, and the Vienna Film Fund, and has confirmed screenings at international galleries and festivals.

Please contact us with your photo, phone number, link to a showreel if possible and availability late July. I am happy to send more information on request.
