Persephone
30 years old, short/average build.
In the original myth, Persephone was stolen from Earth by Hades to live in the underworld as his wife. Persephone was once a girl surrounded by flowers, nature, sun and water. In the underworld, Persephone is trapped in eternal darkness, with nothing but the company of Hades, god of the dead, and the lost souls. In this modernisation, Persephone is plagued with the very same burdens. She is small there, and silenced by her own sadness, and finds hope in any ray of possibility; especially in witnessing Orpheus coming to save his fiancée. Hades is desperate for the mutual love and respect of Persephone, but she cannot learn to love a man who stole her from her home and her mother.
