Details:
In short, 'Make your mind up' is a black comedy that deals with suicide and love. This is an experimental piece that is shot almost entirely from point of view and uses 'first person narration' to express how a persons trade of thought can twist and turn. The Interior monologue from the protagonist character starts as she is contemplating jumping from her high rise building apartment. However through a series of interruptions and the fact our main character 'Sylvia' is procrastinating every chance she gets, her once path to premature death changes and presents a more optimistic outcome.
As stated this is an experimental piece shot through POV therefore the actress who is interested in this role should know that you wouldn\'t be required in front of the camera at all. Your role would be to record Sylvia's trade of thought which will be recorded in a sound booth. There is a lot of dialogue driving the film that will be subsequently sync together with the already shot and edited POV sequences. Although we can obviously take a script into the sound booth, it is important to learn the lines and get inside the head of the character. The spontaneity of Sylvia's thought process is what will make the film work, therefore it mustn\'t feel rehearsed or like it's just being read from the pages.
Regardless of the fact you won't visually be on screen I feel this is still interesting role for any actress who is looking to show a diversity to their acting capabilities. Furthermore please note this a student piece but one of the highest level. Finally I have recently moved to London and I am trying to establish relationships with actors, I have many scripts and a production team as enthusiastic as myself and if you can help with this particular project, I will consider you for future roles, should you be suitable. Thank you for your time.
