Synopsis: A young girl fights for her freedom in a dystopian institution in which she is forced to fabricate her life on social media. How far will she go to reach the one million ‘likes’ she needs in order to escape? Like Living is a psychological sci-fi thriller in the vein of Black Mirror.

Character: Emma
Age: 18-24
Gender: Female

Emma has lived the last few years of her life in solitary confinement. She is unsure exactly how long she has been there, but what she does know is that each day she is getting closer and closer to escaping. A determined and headstrong character, she remains strong and unbroken by this institution, adamant that she will one day return to her family. How far will she go to gain the online social popularity she needs in order to escape?

Extra information: Travel expenses and accommodation will be covered. Ideally we are looking for someone based in Yorkshire, but wont discount applications form elsewhere. The schedule hasn’t been decided yet, but at the moment it is assumed that Emma will be needed on all days.
