Short synopsis:
Happy and pregnant, Mary awaits her husband Patrick, who is a senior policeman, to come home from work. When he does, he tells her he is leaving her. In a state of shock she hits him with a frozen leg of a lamb and kills him. She puts the lamb leg in the oven and goes to the groceries shop, pretending everything is normal and calls the police upon her return home, stating her husband has been murdered while she was away. The investigation begins. Later in the evening she invites the policemen to have the lamb leg for dinner in gratitude for their service.

I am a final year student in Coventry University and this short film is my FMP (Final Major Project). It is an adaptation of the Roald Dahl's short story 'Lamb to the Slaughter'. The rights to film have been officially acquired. The finished product will be owned and used by the Dahl family and the Roald Dahl Foundation.
