Details:

Waking up in the middle of the night, imagining that an innocuous pile of clothes is a figure watching you in the dark is a fright that almost everyone has experienced at some point in their lives, and yet, this universal scare has never been turned into a film†until now.

‘Material Girl’ follows Jay, a nineteen-year-old fashionista who is obsessed with clothing and fashion – as you could guess; her room is overflowing with clothes.

One evening, when Jay is left home alone she will discover that her clothes hoarding habit is not as harmless as she thinks. Imagine her surprise when she peers over at one of her many piles of discarded clothes, only to see a glowing pair of eyes staring back at her and a pair of claw-like gloves slide out from within the sleeves of her favourite coatâ€

We are looking to cast an actress in the lead role of Jay with a playing age between 18 and 25.

The majority of Material Girl’s crew are fresh from completing their debut feature film: ‘The Young Cannibals’. This has been acquired for international distribution, and was released in the USA and Canada on the 1st of October, with an international release happening later this year. We are working on publicity and funding for Material Girl and are planning for the same success! It'll be a great publicity opportunity for a young aspiring actress.
