I'm looking to make a short film about a girl called Hannah who is trapped inside the thought that she has to be 'normal' by societies standards. She's deep into a four year relationship with her boyfriend Toby, but she has this unhappiness she can't shake and can't figure out what it is that's causing it.
She goes for a walk one day in the park to try and clear her head and that's when she's approached by her best friend from years before (Sarah), the one person who she always felt connected to in a way that she's never felt with anyone else.
The two reconnect instantly and after hanging out twice, Hannah abruptly kisses Sarah. They both seemed a bit shocked at first, but soon head back to Hannah's house and continue to show their affection behind closed doors.
Hannah wakes up the next morning to find a note from Sarah saying how she had a great night with her and how she wants to meet again at the same place for the same time.
Hannah heads back to Toby's and explains how she's found her true self to be gay and can no longer be with him.
Soon after, she heads to meet Sarah, but after waiting around for her for an hour and a half, she soon comes to the realisation that there never was any Sarah. Her mind had made her up so that Hannah could finally come out as gay and start to find her happiness as her true self.

A sex scene and kissing will be involved for both female characters, but there will be NO NUDITY. However, there will be a topless scene and implied nudity.

Toby - Looking for someone aged between 18 and 23.


The film will be shot in and around the Bexley area, so please bear this in mind when applying for a role.

Each applicant will need to submit an audition video of their acting skills. This can be either something you've picked out to show your skills off or if needed, I can send a part of the script for you to perform as well.

Please also bear in mind that after casting, there will need to be a script read with all characters present and a chemistry test between the two actresses and between Hannah and Toby as well.
