London and Glasgow Casting

Synopsis: Campers is a touching short film about how people develop eccentricities to illuminate the shadow of grief and mortality. It is about two people who stop communicating and have to learn how to live with each other again after a great loss.

When and Where: The casting will take place on the weekend of the 12th and 13th of Feb in Central London (Kings Cross TBC) and the following weekend for callbacks. Casting in Glasgow will be on the 18th/19th Feb.
The film shoot is taking place in Dumfries, Scotland over four days during the April spring school holidays depending on cast/crew negotiated availability. Not all parts are required for 4 days. Transport, accommodation and food will be provided for the actors.

Cast required:
Pat & Stan (supporting, one large scene with dialogue) - 37-77 years old - Two groundskeepers/workmen. Possibly middle aged or slightly older but could be younger (one younger one older perhaps). Quite strong and used to manual work. Ideally a bit 'rough' and/or interesting to look at as if they have done hard work their whole lives.

What the Cast will receive: Transport/accommodation/delicious catering provided for the shoot, copy of the completed film delivered promptly, credit in the completed film and on the film's website, invitation to the cast/crew screenings (one in Glasgow, one in London), expected great exposure through high profile festivals, film markets (Cannes, Berlin etc) & BAFTAs (through a thorough distribution strategy).
