REM is a short 10 minute film set in and around the Clapham area. A struggling musician by the name of Robert Stevens recieves an invitation to gig at the CClapham bandstand. After coming out of a community reabilitation program due to an addiction to a cocktail of prescription drugs, he believes this could be his break.

The Characters

Robert Stevens (25-35) Former drug addict, reformed through reabilitation. Discovers a love for jazz music and hopes to forge a career as a musician. If it was not for Robs love of music he would probably still be on drugs a tramp or in prison.

Paul (20-25) Former ASBO like persona, boistrous and rowdy lives off his rich parents and sits around all day smoking weed, gets over excited easily and lacks common sense.

Stan (20-25) Friend of Robert and Paul who grew up on the same estate, and like paul he too is unsociable and take part in any constructive activity, easily led and does whats hes told to do by paul.

All actors will have their travel fares and refreshments covered and will recieve a copy of the finished film once edited on dvd.
