Details:

Set in a small Yorkshire town, there has been a murder in the night and the demure lady at the flower shop may be more involved than her old friend would like to think. Set over the course of a day, the story aims for a sort of \'yorkshire gothic\' a quaint small town setting undercut with the grotesque and a deal of observational humour..

The parts are.
Lilly Mae White - Widowed flower shop owner, late 40\'s - 50\'s. Has struggled to keep her business going since the passing of her beloved Raymond, but maintains a strong and friendly demeanor.
Jack Haggis - Old friend of Lillys. Also widowed. Often drunk with an aspect of driftwood upon a stormy sea. Mid 50\'s.

These are the two main roles, the narrative following them over the course of the day. The following are speaking roles that have one (substantial) scene each.

Toby Haggis - Mid - late teens. Nephew of Jack.
Kim - Church administrator. Twenties.
Stan - An adultorous man looking for just the right kind of apology enchancing flora. 30ish
Father Collin - Vicar of the parish. 30\'s - 40\'s.

I would be more than happy to send out the script to anybody interested, or answer any questions by email at glennstarkey1@gmail.com

Auditions are to take place in York on the weekend of the 23rd April. We are currently aiming to shoot in Pickering. Late May or early June. Most likely over a few days on seperate weekends.
