Details:
Kuramo Bay Filmworks is currently seeking actors for a micro-budget feature film titled 'Water Has No Enemy' - a Political thriller set among the Nigerian community in London.
Plot Summary: On the run from security agents out to kill him, a corrupt Nigerian Politician escapes to London - is betrayed by his mistress - and abducted by a group of young Nigerian activists. Using the high-voltage dynamics of a thriller, the screenplay sets out to explore the root causes of extreme poverty in Nigeria, a country with a vast wealth of natural resources.
We can only offer to cover travel expenses within the Greater London area and provide refreshments during rehearsals along with travel expenses and proper meals during the shoot. We have secured a limited theatrical release and online DVD distribution deal with one of the leading specialist independent exhibitors of urban films in the UK so we may also be able to offer a deferred fee if the film does well.
We also aim to get the film screened at International Film Festivals. We also undertake to provide cast members with a DVD copy of the finished film. Producer & director Ade Adepegba has directed drama shorts & documentaries for mainstream UK TV networks (ITV, Channel 4).
