Selphie Teller is the main antagonist and occasional protagonist. She suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder and Schizophrenia. Selphie is crazy, secluded and is often alone with her own imagination. She is in a mental hospital for several crimes and murders she has committed. Selphie loves to play people and cause them distress. She is considered unstable and a danger to society as well as herself.

Background:

Selphie was born in a small countryside village and lived with her abusive mother and elder sister. Through childhood they often bullied her and tormented her. Selphie developed Schizophrenia and later developed Dissociative Identity Disorder.
As a child she developed a passion for books, music and anywhere she could escape from her life and conditions. Her family often ignore her condition and pretty much kept her confined to her room or over drugging her with medicine. They considered her a freak. This was also reflected on by the neighbourhood children.
One day when Selphie’s mother went out, Rachel abused her, Selphie who had enough, stuck up for herself and managed to kill her Sister in self-defence. Selphie managed to hide the body well as it was never found, however she was blamed for this by her mother and neighbours, but no evidence came up.
Selphie was put into care and was often moved around houses, she had a better life and her condition was treated better. Eventually Selphie befriended Michael, the two fell in love. For the first time in her life she developed some normality but this would be the once and only time.
As they got older her condition got worse and more unstable, and Michael could no longer bear to be with her, but was scared to leave her knowing what she might do, Michael was making something of himself and began having an affair with Melanie Fairhart, however Selphie discovered this and ended up killing them both.
Selphie managed to cover up the death of Melanie but however was later arrested for the death of Michael and several others over the years. Selphie was put on trial and deemed unfit and unstable for society and was sentenced for life in a mental hospital, when she was confided to her room and was given a series of medication to keep her sane. However many years in the hospital caused her insanity to get worse and worse.
