He is currently the CEO of his own law firm – Fairhart Attorneys of Law. Lindsey is ruthless, proud and manipulative, he always gets what he wants and despite his age, became successful long before most people do. It is said that he never lost a case, and is a man you do not want against you.
Lindsey is a very loyal man and he can only trust a few people in his circle of which he acts like a dominant big brother towards. His trust issues stem from observing his own mother walking out on them and taking his father for every penny she could get. This affected his trust for women; therefore he only used women for pleasure and flirting.
Lindsey has a daughter in his 20s (Melanie Fairhart), but she was murdered when she hit adulthood and as a result Lindsey led a dark life, operating both sides of the law. He became a very dark and vengeful character. He lives to take revenge on the person who killed his daughter. He also acts like a dominant brother and a good friend to Nicholas and his right-hand men.
Lindsey wears smart and stylish suits, along with smart shoes and an overcoat. His hair is styled and often slicked back. Lindsey often wears sunglasses.

Background:

Lindsey was born to a very wealthy businessman and his gold-digger wife. He grew up on a rich estate and from an early age his father expected too much of him and was often disappointed by his son’s antics. His father only cared about his work, and his mother only cared for money as she later divorced Lindsey’s ‘father, took half of his money and abandoned them both, thus ruining Lindsey’s trust in women for life.
Lindsey grew up fast and become quite independent and clever; he led a wild lifestyle but despite this worked very hard and eventually got accepted into the University of Cambridge to study law. Lindsey befriended Nicholas at university and they became very close, Nicholas would often keep him out of trouble and advise him in troubled situations. At university Lindsey found a passion in singing and playing the acoustic guitar, this gave his wild life some stress relief.
Post-University Lindsey got a job as a trainee lawyer and took to the trade very quickly, winning all of his cases, he started several businesses and became wealthy very quickly. Lindsey had a daughter with a random woman who he only stayed with because of his future child. When his daughter Melanie was born she soon left them both. Lindsey took to fatherhood very well and loved his daughter more than anything in the world.Eventually Lindsey became the CEO of his own law firm and several businesses, and led a life both sides of the law due to him being mad with power.
Years went by, and his daughter left to attend university. She started to see a charming man called Michael, who was trying to get out of a relationship with a very ill and unstable Selphie Teller. Selphie eventually found out and presumably killed them both (later turned out to be true).
Lindsey was distraught and became very dark; he spent his free time trying to find the suspect for his daughter’s murder. Lindsey eventually discovered Selphie’s tracks, although he needed a confession before he took his revenge. Knowing she was in a mental hospital for other crimes Lindsey managed to get his right hand man, William a job in the hospital who would learn the layouts and effectively break her out. However his friend Nicholas is struggling to write a story about her, so he uses his contracts to get him an interview with Selphie, as his trusting nature would get through to her and William would take over.
Upon the film opening Lindsey is preparing his plan and goes to inform Nicholas of the interview, however it’s strictly business and in return for his services he wants a small profit of the book sales from Nicholas.
