Pell Mell Theatre Company, following a sold out production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" return to the New Diorama Theatre to present a three week run of "The Libertine" by Stephen Jeffreys. Directed by Natalie York (Associate Director: New Diorama Theatre, Artistic Director: Pell Mell Theatre Company) the play charts the life of the scandalous Lord Rochester from the royal court of Charles II to the playhouses, brothels and gutters of 16th century London. The company are looking for talented and committed actors with the passion and stamina for this ambitious project. Rehearsals will take place during July of 2012 with performances from the 7th to the 25th of August.
