We are producing a short sci-fi thriller. It centres on a man who believes everyone else has been replaced by robots, and the ends to which he is driven by this paranoia.

Nick:
Physical Description: Male, Caucasian, 25-45, darker hair, slim build, average height.
Bio: Nick believes everyone else has been replaced by robots. He is an outsider and a bit odd, but he is not balls-out crazy (at least, not obviously). It is never made explicit whether Nick’s paranoia is justified, so the performance has to be subtle enough to walk this line. The story is told entirely from Nick’s perspective and he is in every scene.

David:
Physical Description: Male, 25-45, slim build, average height.
Bio: David is a (former) friend/comrade of Nick’s who no longer believes in the idea of the robots. He sought help and has moved on with his life, much to Nick\'s suspicion. This is a vital supporting role. Estimated 1-2 days filming.

Meredith Spencer:
Physical Description: Female, 25+, Caucasian
Bio: Meredith is an outside evaluator brought into Nick’s workplace to monitor performance. She is a catalyst for much of what follows. This is another vital supporting role, and requires a level of subtlety to walk the line between what is real and what is imagined. Estimated 1-2 days filming.

Location:
The film will be shot predominantly around the Keele University campus. Actors must be willing and able to travel here at their own expense, so please keep this in mind.

Schedule:
Filming will take place towards the end of November and early December, and we anticipate approximately 5 full shooting days. Please take this only as a guide - a shooting schedule will be put together based, in part, around actor availability.
