\"Morty\" is a short about a mortician assistant\'s (Viva) attempt to bring the lonely Mortician (Morty) out of his shell. But Morty has a dark secret, he tattoo\'s the dead (due to his Uncle\'s damaged reputation and his natural gift and love for the arts). Will their new found friendship bring him into the light, or is their mutual love of tattooing too close the bone?

Stages of auditions;

1. Apply
2. If we get back to you, you will be asked to send an audition tape of a couple of sections of the script. (Deadline 28th Jan)
3. If you make it to the final auditions, you will be asked to a one on one audition with the director and producer in Lincoln.

All actors must be available for read through rehearsals in Lincoln (4th/5th Feb) and then for several days (not all) filming from 13th Feb to 9th March.

Actors preferred in the Nottingham or Lincoln area as this is where a majority of the filming takes place.

All travel costs and food will be provided. Payment is yet to be secured as our funding promotions is yet to be complete. Search for haberdasher films on facebook to find more info about the film and see the promo video.
