Details:

"A Second Look" is a short film about an aging man who lives alone. For financial reasons he is forced to take in a housemate, but his desire for neatness and order causes no end of conflicts.

Richard is the main character of the film and the owner of the house where the story takes place. He is somewhat grumpy and likes everything just so, which causes problems when he is forced to bring in a housemate to help with bills.

Julia is a florist. Pleasant, chirpy and upbeat, Richard brings her in as the first housemate as he thinks she will be neat, tidy and keep to herself. Unfortunately, she brings her work home with her - literally, as soon after she moves in Richard finds his bathroom full of soil and seedlings.

Peter is a businessman. Kicked out by his wife, he needs a place to crash for a few nights, and stumbles upon Richard\'s spare room. Flash and presentable, Richard thinks he\'s found his ideal housemate - until Peter\'s penchant for the violin is revealed one night...

Dan is a punk who seems to simply wander into Richard\'s house one night. Tired of searching for a housemate, Richard lets him stay, and spends the night worrying about the damage a young man like Dan can cause. Perhaps, though, they have more in common than Richard first thought...
