Details:

We are casting a brand new stage version of 'The Count of Monte Cristo' which will premiere in London from 15 - 19 March (Brockley Jack Studio Theatre) followed by a small tour to Essex on 25 & 26 March (Ingatestone Hall, Stately Home), Rye on 27 March, Steeple Aston on 9 April and Alfriston on 10 April.

Rehearsals will take place in Lewisham on Friday 4th March and then Weds 9th, Thurs 10th, Fri 11th and Sat 12th March from 10.30 am - 6 pm with a tech/dress on Mon 14th.

There will be a fee of £250 paid at the end of the run with the possibility of a bonus.

For all non-London dates, actors will be picked up at a tube station and driven to the venue.

The story:-

Young Edmond Dantes has it all, the love of the beautiful Mercedes, a promising career of adventure on the high seas and a remarkably well-balanced relationship with his father. But all is not as rosy as it seems, for Edmond is the unwitting victim of three envious acquaintances who devise a scheme to falsely accuse him of treason.

Sentenced to life in prison, Dantes must find a means to escape the impenetrable walls of the Chateau d'If, discover the whereabouts of Mercedes and exact a terrible revenge upon the men who robbed him of his future.

We're casting for two of the three villains at present - CARDEROUSSE and VILLEFORT. Each actor will take a central role and several smaller roles, so we need character actors of tremendous versatility and ability.

Please make sure you're available for all dates and ok with the fee before applying.
