Crossing the Line is an urban drama about an African guy Bilal, and an Asian girl, Ayesha who fell in love and plan to marry but both parents are against it, for Ayesha there’s a husband already arranged for her, while Bilal is the son of a King so can’t marry outside his tribe but while the young couple decides to go ahead with the marriage, Ayesha’s family plans to go to any length to make sure the relationship ends even if it means taking their own daughters life.
Auditions to be held on the 24th of September in Manchester.

Bilal – male 25 – 30 yrs. / Black – Bilal is an African in his late 20’s to early 30’s tall and good looking, he moved to the U.K to sturdy
Ayesha – Female – 22 – 26 – Ayesha is an Asian girl in her mid twenties born and grew up in the U.K
Sajid – Male – 21 – 25, - Asian, Sajid is Ayesha’s brother has a strong bond with the sister
Tarek – 24 – 28 – Asian, Ayesha’s cousin who is supposed to marry, has a bit of a bad boy image
Jammy – 25 – 30 yrs - Black – Bilal’s mate, they’ve been friends for a few years and he’s a rataferian
Chaz – 22 -25yrs. – Black or mix –race – Bilal’s friend works for a charity organisation
Mr. Khan – 50 – 65 – Asian male Ayesha’s father very old fashion and adamant to change
Mrs. Khan 35 -45 – Asian female Ayesha’s mother, a loving mother and devoted wife.
Pran – 50 -65 Asian male, Mr. Khans brother
Fatima – 22 – 26 – Asian female - Ayesha’s best friend, she is pretty girl and very materialistic
Chief – 55 – 65 –Black Male Bilal’s father a chief back in Africa
