Job Specifics:

Details:
I am looking for an actor/actress with a good sense of humor to be in my music video entry for the Genero TV Duran Duran competition. http://www.duranduran.com/wordpress/?p=17604
You can listen to our chosen track here, the song is called 'Girl Panic'
http://genero.tv/duranduran/
The music video is a comedy about a puppet dog (made in the style of Jim Henson) that upon finding out he's going to be castrated makes it his mission to find a female dog to carry on his legacy. A lady and the tramp tale, but with more balls, puppet balls.
We are looking for a male or female actor (any age) who is a dog owner, and who along with their dog (to be the female love interest) would like to appear in the shoot.
I would like to ideally cast an actual owner and dog, as being a dog owner myself I feel that the dog will be a lot more natural and comfortable with its own owner. In regards to the dogs breed I have no specifics but because the size of the locations/puppet we can't take on any dogs that are too big i.e no Irish Wolfhounds or Great Danes.
The female dog part wouldn't be too demanding
as she's mainly on her lead in the park, or the street for most of the film.
It is only the end which would be demanding for the dog, where it would have to be okay for a puppet to mount its back (but only for a short amount of time) and be able to stay still (for a short amount of time).
If your dog hasn't been in a film before that isn't a problem as newcomers are welcome :) And also for the park sequences your dog would have to be okay with other dogs.
Just to put anyone's mind at ease, the ending is outrageous but needed, but I must stress is a comedy so the end sequence will not be indecent, (think Santa's little helper in The Simpsons when he is at the great hound track).
The shoot will be from the 30th Jan - 1st February (although it is likely once scheduling is finalized to be one morning and one afternoon that you will be required. This can be split up over two days whatever you feel would be most fair for your dog, and your own schedule)
We are shooting entirely just outside London in the Kent suburb of Bexleyheath.
The shoot, as it is low budget will be expenses only.
About Me -
2009 graduate of UCA at Farnham. Two of my films made there had festival runs, one being shown at the City in Motion Film Festival and at the 'Paris at the movies' season at The Barbican. Most recently my graduation film was shown (and a nominee for best student short) at the Film Directing for Women Film Festival.
As I have been away in America for the last year this music video is a chance for me to get back into the saddle.
