The production is about a young girl who's mother was murdered, a few months after her mothers death shes told by her grandma she is a witch and receives the dead book from her grandma, the book is a form of protection for witches but can be uses as a weapon as its a book that can kill people. She is determined to find her mothers killer and along the way she finds two men connected to her mothers death, one is the killer. She wrongly suspects one of the men until she see's another vision when she finds out that she almost killed the wrong man, she uses the dead book to get her vengeance.

Joshua is one of the guys from the bar he's very quiet and is quite a nervous person. He keeps himself to himself, but tries to stand up for Alexa when he suspects James' plans for her. But due to his shy and nervous personality it's makes Alexa wrongly suspect him. He tries to stand his ground but he knows what James is capable of and runs away leaving Alexa at the hands of James.
