Details:

The following role is open to auditions with regards to a project titled ‘MY JOB IS WATCHING HER’, written by Brandon Faircloth – based on his original story ‘My job is to watch a woman trapped in a room’ – and produced by Jordan-Luke McDonald and Brandon Faircloth. The project is currently in the pre-production stage and is to be produced primarily in Lancaster (United Kingdom) as a multi-part web series.

SOLOMON:

Man or woman in their 50s or 60s. Tall and somewhat lean. They are very intelligent and precise, and uses both intellect and exactitude as tools to manipulate and intimidate others. Generally polite, but enjoys using dry humour and implied threats to make others uncomfortable and to demonstrate that they are the one in control. Part of this is just their personality, but it has been further cultivated through years of working with their organisation.

They do not consider themselves to be a bad person, but rather a driven one that is pragmatic, self-possessed and capable of greatness. While they are very talented in some regards, they are also ruthless, petty and prone to self-delusion and rationalisation to ease any guilt they might otherwise feel. For example, they prides themselves in being fair and honest in situations that, by their very nature, are unfair to the other party and were precipitated by earlier deceit.

Solomon at times exhibits brief moments of almost childish emotion and can demonstrate a small streak of sadism as well, though these two traits are usually fleeing, as they don’t comport with their self-image and, thus, aren’t allowed out into the light for long.
