I am a third year digital film and video student from London South Bank University. The film is the final project for the course.

The film is about a girl whose mother died a year ago and hasn\'t seen her biological father since the funeral. The film takes place on the first anniversary of the mother\'s death. Ellen feels she and her mother have been replaced by her dad\'s new girlfriend. Her father, Peter, feels that he is losing his daughter to her stepfather. But come the end of the day they both realise that they love each other and their relationship is reformed.

There will be two days of rehearsals in Bramley, Hampshire. One early and one just before filming commences. There will also be 3-4 days of filming. 2-3 in Bramley and one in Maidenhead. No set date yet as I will need to wait for a portrait to be painted from a photograph taken during the first rehearsal.

I am looking for someone to play the role of Peter, a canvas painter, who hasn\'t seen his daughter since his ex-wife\'s funeral a year ago and is worried that he is losing her to her stepfather, despite accepting their connection. The ability to remember a large number of lines is important.
