About the Company

A State of Change is a production company who advocate risky decisions in contemporary theatre. We believe that ‘Existence is a state of change and so therefore there is no safety net.’ We look to explore the possibilities of producing performance that works with digital media. It is also important that anyone who engages with our work whether as a performer or an audience member never leaves empty handed.

About the role

A State of Change is launching a new theatre company and we are looking for two new Sharers – actors/actresses who are partners in the company. The Sharers will not only be actors/actresses within the company and perform in all the performances but will work with the current Sharer to research and evidence the company’s practice and methods. They will also complete specific and general administration from fundraising applications and proposals to project evaluation. They may on occasion need to attend workshops or events by other companies which will always be paid for if required.

Able to make a serious commitment from January to September schedule

Able to submit supporting material if requested – performance, film, photos
Between 18-26 years old

Experience in facilitation

Experience in theatre/film production

To request a job application pack, including full job description and schedule please email asocproductions@gmail.com. Please send a CV of work experience, an Acting CV or details of acting experience and a covering letter of motivation to asocproductions@gmail.com

Hours up until the start of the project will be a minimum of 12 hours a week as required after which the Sharer will need to commit to the all sessions during the January to September run. Deadline for applications is Monday 1st October, 5pm. Interviews will commence the week of 8th October.
