Details:

Director: Alex Laver.

This is yet another student film, but this one offers to break the mould on student film making, using industry standard camera equipment to a produce a cinematic short. We are a professional close knit production team who work together and create motion picture art. Actors and actresses can request to see a show reel of our work.

Abortion, disability and heartbreak lie at the centre of this short drama.

Andy and Kate’s unborn baby is diagnosed with a disability at their twenty two week scan. After many miscarriages they realise this may be their last chance for a baby. Andy is mid-thirties and adamant he does not want to bring up a disabled child for many reasons.

Kate is getting on a bit and wants a baby, but Andy argues endlessly with her over why they should not have this baby. He convinces her and she arranges to have an abortion. Andy realises he has been wrong all along but has he left it too late?

This short drama is an excellent opportunity for actors and actresses who want to be noticed. The short film will entered into film festivals up and down the down country from Southampton’s Film festival to possibly Edinburgh’s International Film Festival. The selected actor and actress will be paid in the form of a new show reel.
